Does PAS got talent? Come to the Talent Show and find out. This event is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Tickets are $10 for audience members age 4+ (tickets are not necessary for Talent Show participants.) Day of event walk ins are welcome if space is available for $15 per person. Early bird ticket pricing deadline: Friday, February 27.
Volunteers are needed to help at the event with set up, ticket sales, and ushering. All volunteers receive 2 free tickets!

Topic: Family Emotional Safety
This discussion series, coordinated by Mr. Manny Harris, Ms. Matti Freiberg, and Ms. Beth Clauss, was developed to support schools and community partners that wish to engage parents and caregivers in conversations about the social and emotional growth of their families.
Space is limited to 30 participants. Dinner and childcare will be provided, paid for by HSA funds.

School Advisory Council Meeting

School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once a month and is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement, school improvement, effective teaching, and parent and community engagement, communication, and support. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month and are open to everyone in the school community. Middle School Lock In

Middle School Lock In
Friday, February 27, 5:30-7:30 PM
Location: Gym, enter from Blacktop
Middle Schoolers will be "locked in" at school for a fun night of silent dancing with a DJ and other fun activities. They will enjoy pizza, candy, snacks, and soda with their classmates!
Tickets are $15; only PAS students in grades 6-8 are invited, and students must attend school on the day of the event. Advance sales only. Payment and permission slip due by Monday, February 23. Students are NOT permitted to walk home alone.
Parent volunteers are needed to help with set up, clean up, and to donate supplies such as snacks, treats, and beverages.

- Prize manager: contact local businesses for gift certificates and race prizes

The Penn Alexander School stage will transform into a faraway kingdom this May as we bring the hilarious and heartwarming world of Shrek The Musical JR. to life. Penn Alexander is committed to keeping the art of musical theatre alive by producing quality shows. Only a portion of our costs to produce the show is supported by ticket sales. There are a few ways you can support our production:
- T-SHIRT SALES ($20) & SHOUT-OUTS ($5): Purchase HERE February 1-March 27.
- AMAZON WISHLIST: Purchase a costume or prop on our Amazon Wishlist HERE.

Ice Skating Party

Come to the Family Ice Skating Party!

Doors open at 2:10 PM for skate rental
The HSA of Penn Alexander has rented out the Penn Class of 1923 Ice Rink at 3130 Walnut Street for an Ice Skating Party for the whole family.
Tickets are $10 for skaters and $5 for non-skating chaperones. ALL students need adult supervision, and tickets are required for ALL entry. Ticket Deadline: March 5; NO tickets will be available at the door!
Lots of volunteers and supplies are needed! Any parent who signs up for a volunteer shift will receive two free admissions - one for you, and one for your child or guest! To save on costs, we are asking for donations of individual bags of snacks or treats, water bottles, hot cups, napkins, etc. Please drop off items at the main office by March 3.
