The Penn Alexander School stage will transform into a faraway kingdom this May as we bring the hilarious and heartwarming world of Shrek The Musical JR. to life. The directors, cast, crew, and choir members are all working hard getting the production ready!
Tickets will go on sale after spring break, but Friday, March 27 is the deadline to purchase T-shirts, Playbill "shout-outs" for your budding stars, and Playbill sponsorships for local businesses and families, all of which help support the cost of putting on the production.
- T-SHIRT SALES ($20) & SHOUT-OUTS ($5): Purchase HERE by March 27.
- SPONSORSHIPS ($100-$1500): Purchase a personalized congratulatory Playbill ad HERE or recommend potential local businesses HERE by March 27.

Social Emotional Learning Parent Series

Topic: Family Emotional Safety
This discussion series, coordinated by Mr. Manny Harris, Ms. Matti Freiberg, and Ms. Beth Clauss, was developed to support schools and community partners that wish to engage parents and caregivers in conversations about the social and emotional growth of their families.
Space is limited to 30 participants. Dinner and childcare will be provided, paid for by HSA funds.

School Advisory Council Meeting

School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once a month and is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement, school improvement, effective teaching, and parent and community engagement, communication, and support. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month and are open to everyone in the school community. Support STEAM education at Penn Alexander School by running, volunteering your time, or becoming a sponsor for the culminating event of the year.
EARLY BIRD PRICING: Adults: $35 / Students: $25

BIGGEST VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
- Running Club helpers: the more parents who sign up, the more children can be included in the clubs. Running is not necessary!
- Sponsorship help: contact a few local businesses to become T-shirt sponsors
- Prize manager: contact local businesses for gift certificates and race prizes
- Day of Race volunteers: sign up HERE

Learn Something New at the Math Festival!
Thursday, April 16: 5:30-7:30 PM
5:30-6:00 PM: Optional FREE dinner in the lunchroom
6:00-7:30 PM: Visit fun math stations in the gym
Spend an evening doing puzzles and games, and learn some math too! Learn through play together with your children and see first-hand how to support them in their math studies. Volunteers are needed to bring dessert, with set up and clean up, and to help run the games. Come home with some fun freebies.

Shop for your child(ren), purchase a classroom gift card, and/or sign up to work a shift at the Literati Book Fair. Every purchase benefits our school library.
VOLUNTEER: Sign up HERE
Volunteers are needed for set up on April 6, clean up on April 13, and for working shifts April 6-10. All volunteers will be given a FREE $10 gift card!

You can shop online (starting March 9) or visit in-person (April 8-10). You can purchase gift cards for your kids online, if you wish to avoid sending them with cash. You can purchase classroom books by purchasing a gift card for a teacher.
