13th Annual PAS 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk

Sunday, June 8

Support STEAM education at Penn Alexander School by running, volunteering your time, or becoming a sponsor for the culminating event of the year.

BUY TICKETS: Purchase HERE

Adults: $40; Students: $30; Deadline: Sunday, June 1

VOLUNTEER: Sign up HERE to volunteer during the race.

PACKET PICKUP: Wednesday, June 4 & Thursday, June 5: 8:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-6:15 PM. Packet includes: T-shirt & cowbell (if ordered) and race bib with 4 pins. Only adults are permitted to pick up race packets; not your children!

DAY OF RACE INFO:

7:30 AM: Day-of Registration (Cashless)

8:30 AM: Timed 5K Run

9:30 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run

After party & race results: Enjoy hanging around the playground and the dance party, while we tally the results and announce our medal winners!

Medical & Safety: Runners are responsible for bringing their own inhaler, Epi-pen or other required items. This event is happening rain, shine & heat. There is no rain date.

Please fill out THIS FORM by May 23 to sign up to present to your child's classroom on Career Day from 8:30-9:00 AM. The goal is for each class to have three caregivers come in during Morning Meeting to discuss your important role in the community.

Middle Grades Financial Reality Fair

Tuesday, June 3 from 9:15 AM-12:30 PM

Location: PAS Gym (use the main entrance and check in at the office)

This fair is a hands-on financial education event for middle school students to learn about careers, salaries, budgets, and savings for independent living. (Click HERE for more information about lower grades Career Day.)

Many parent volunteers are needed to monitor a station for each component of the fair e.g. housing, transportation, insurance, food, clothing, entertainment, and utilities while students complete their budget worksheet. No experience necessary! Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

To keep your child's skills sharp and on track, click Read More to see the summer reading letters, math resources, information on summer camps (including free and low-cost options), and details on school supplies needed for the 2025-26 school year.

We are also happy to announce that the HSA has paid for select summer reading books to go home with every child. The HSA will also be purchasing reams of paper, paper towels, tissues, and wipes for each classroom next year, thus lowering the cost of school supplies.
