Shop for your child(ren), purchase a classroom book, and/or sign up to work a shift at the Scholastic Book Fair! Approximately 25% of online sales and 50% of in-person sales will be donated back to Penn Alexander. Discover an expanded selection of exclusive books, new releases, value packs, and more. VOLUNTEER:

Volunteers are needed for set up on MONDAY, November 9 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM; Clean up on WEDNESDAY, November 18 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM, and for working shifts November 10-17. All volunteers can pick a book for FREE (up to $10 value)!

Volunteers Needed: 10:30 AM-12:00 PM & 12:00-1:30 PM. Volunteers will receive a voucher for a FREE basic package from Lifetouch Pictures. (See Dr. Kreidle first before ordering.) Help students line up, comb hair, straighten collars, and provide general assistance to ensure Picture Day goes smoothly.

Pretzel Day

Pretzel Days!

Pretzel Day is a beloved PAS tradition for the children. This year we will have one per month, on occasional Thursdays, for a total of 10 Pretzel Days. The next one is October 29.

Students can buy pretzels the day of with $2 cash.

On the same payment form, you can pre-pay for dress-down days which support various charitable causes chosen by members of Student Council.

Dominoes & La Cultura

Domino Tournament for Kids in Grades 5-8

Friday, November 13: 5:00-7:00 PM

Location: PAS Atrium (enter through main entrance)

Join University of Pennsylvania Student Groups CAUSA (the Cuban American Undergraduate Student Association) and Grupo Quisqueyano (the Haitian/Dominican Student Association) to celebrate the game played in many Latine and Caribbean countries: dominoes! You will learn about Cuban, Dominican, and Haitian culture before learning about and practicing your domino skills with friends in our 3rd annual dominoes tournament.

Prizes and food provided! Sign up by November 12 (please check with your children first. PAS 5th-8th grade students only!)
