Penn Alexander School is pleased to offer so many field trips for our students! You must be logged in to pay.

 

Please note that field trips are available to ALL students, regardless of financial situation. Please consider making an additional donation to cover the cost of chaperones and families who may not be able to pay. If you are unable to pay at this time, please contact your child's teacher or Dr. Kreidle.

 

Field Trips that do not have a cost will not be listed below. Chaperones must have clearances.

5th Grade Trip to Legoland

Chaperones needed: 3 per class

Attire: school uniform; Legoland requires children to wear socks

Lunch: pack a brown bag lunch

Note: students should NOT bring any spending money on this trip

Cost: $30

8th Grade Trip to Share Food Program

Chaperones needed: 2

Attire: comfortable shoes and PAS school uniform to pack up food boxes

Cost: $10

Deadline for payment and permission slip: October 1

3rd Grade Trip to Franklin Institute

Chaperones needed: 4-5 per classroom

Attire: comfortable shoes and PAS school uniform

Cost: $25

Deadline for payment and permission slip: November 30

Note: students should pack a lunch (no glass or heat ups)

5th Grade Trip to Annenberg Center

Chaperones needed: 1 per classroom

Attire: comfortable shoes and warm attire for walking; PAS school uniform

Cost: $5

Monday, December 15

1st Grade Trip to Adventure Aquarium

Chaperones needed: 3-4 per classroom

Attire: comfortable shoes and PAS school uniform

Cost: $25 (actual cost of the trip is $40. The HSA is covering a portion of the cost to keep prices down. Families who are able to pay the full amount are encouraged to do so, and additional donations are greatly appreciated. Families that need further assistance should contact their teacher.)

6th-8th Grade Trip to Penn Basketball Game

Chaperones needed: 2-3 per classroom

Attire: comfortable shoes and warm attire for walking; PAS school uniform

Cost: $10

Deadline for payment and permission slip: December 10 

Note: students should bring a brown paper bag lunch to eat either before the game or at the Palestra; students may also purchase concessions.
