After School Arts at Penn (ASAP)

  • a FREE arts program for students age 10-14
  • Wednesdays from 4-5:30 PM
  • FREE summer camp July 21-25 for grades 4-12

Breakthrough

  • A FREE year-round program for middle school students

Camp Mariposa

  • A FREE year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth affected by substance use in their families
  • Philadelphia weekend camp for ages 9-12

Friday Night Writes

  • A FREE drop-in writing / editing opportunity for kids in grades 6-12 in the fall
  • Run through the Philadelphia Writing Project at the University of Pennsylvania

Lankenau Environmental High School

  • Get a taste of agriculture, food, and natural resources and learn more about this magnet high school
  • FREE summer camp June 23-27 for rising grades 7-8

LEAP

  • A FREE after-school program for kids in grades 1-12
  • Run through (and at) Free Library of Philadelphia locations

Legacy Tennis Camp

  • A low-cost summer camp for children age 7-13
  • $100 for half-day camp (located at 47th and Spruce); $200 for full day camp (various locations) for entire 7 week season

Mighty Writers

  • A FREE summer camp for all ages
