To keep your child's skills sharp and on track, check out the summer assignments that are explained below. 

 

MATH

Additionally, we recommend that 8th grade students utilize Khan Academy to brush up on their mathematics skills. Khan Academy is a free resource available to all students.

 

READING

 

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

We are pleased to be able to offer families the same three hassle-free options we provided last year for ensuring your child has their school supplies when they return in the fall.

How the program works: 2nd-8th Grade Teachers have prepared supply lists for each grade that will be included in their summer reading packet they will receive at the end of the year. Be sure to look at the list for your child’s grade next year. Check out the School Supply landing page for all the options on purchasing supplies, including the option to have supplies delivered directly to your child’s classroom through companies like EduKit and Teacherlists.com! Please note the deadlines for each option.

Note to parents of rising Kindergartners and 1st graders: Your child(ren)'s school supplies for these grades will be purchased by the teachers. You can pay the fee online ($50 for K; $75 for 1st) or drop off cash or check payable to 'HSA of Penn Alexander' at the school office.

PAS GARDEN

Sign up HERE to adopt the PAS Garden for a week. Duties involve watering, weeding, and picking whatever is ripe. Contact Ms. Kearney with any questions.
