Parent Representative Needed for SAC

Time Commitment: approx. 2 hours per month

The PAS School Advisory Council (SAC) is looking for a middle school parent representative who can commit to attending meetings for the remainder of the '23-'24 school year. Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Monday of the month from 3:45-4:45 p.m. The meeting dates for this year are 11/13/23, 12/11/23, 1/8/24, 2/12/24, 3/4/24, 4/15/24, and 5/13/24.

SAC is a group of peer-elected stakeholders that includes parents, staff, and community members. The SAC is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement and school improvement.  Some of the projects we are working on this year include traffic and safety, implementing the feedback from the School Experience survey, and building an inclusive school community.

Parents and guardians are always welcome to attend any SAC meeting!
