Co-Chair Needed!

Approx. 10 Hours over 3 Months

The HSA is looking for a co-chairperson and volunteers to help lead the Ice Skating Party, to be held on March 7, 2026 from 2:40-4:40 PM. Responsibilities would include:

  • Confirm details with the Penn Rink
  • Manage volunteers in advance and at the party
  • Serve as liaison between the board, rink, and volunteers
  • Help with plans and communications
  • Update existing project plan
  • Procure supplies and help with set up

Share your love of science by being a science fair judge at the annual PAS Science Fair for Grades 4-5. No experience necessary. Listen to students present their projects and chat about the scientific method.

Bookkeeper Needed

Help the HSA Treasurer with Bookkeeping

Medium-level Commitment, Critical Work!

Time Commitment: 1-4 hours per week

The HSA is looking for an organized, trustworthy person to assist the Treasurer remotely in inputting donations and purchases into the correct categories in Membership Toolkit. On a weekly basis, bank and credit card transactions are entered, checks are printed, and deposits are entered. On a monthly basis, statements are reconciled to prepare a monthly report to the finance committee.

Cashier Needed

Help the HSA Treasurer Count Money

Medium-level Commitment, Helpful Work!

Time Commitment: approx. 1 hour per week

The HSA is looking for an organized, trustworthy person to help the Treasurer count money. The cashier picks up the cash and checks from the PAS office, counts them, and records the information in an online register. Once the cash and checks are counted and the records are updated, a deposit is prepared and taken to any TD Bank branch. The schedule for this job is flexible.
