Message from the Principal

Dear PAS Families,

Finally, the first day of the 2025-26 school year is here!  Staff have been working long days and a lot of nights to get ready for an awesome year! We can't wait to see all of our students, welcome our new families and catch up with our returning families tomorrow.  


Grades 5-8 should line up on the front walkway, like last year. Grades K-4 will be on the blacktop.  We have changed some line positions so check the cones or look for your teacher 's sign on the blacktop.  Supervision of the blacktop and field begins at 8am.  Free student breakfast is available from 8-8:20am in the lunchroom.  


Monday will be a busy day in our city, with more traffic on the roads, including lots of school buses, and fewer SEPTA options. Here are tips for a safe and less stressful drop-off. Bring your good vibes—and pack a little extra grace and patience for the journey. Thank you for being such a supportive community!

  • All are welcome to this FREE event!

From the HSA...

Room Parents Needed!

Each classroom teacher has 1-2 room parents. They help foster classroom community with tasks such as passing along announcements, organizing playdates / get-togethers, helping out during teacher appreciation week, and more! Room parents also work with teachers to assist with projects as needed. Classrooms with no one signed up yet: 133, 117, 119, 108, 201, 209, 217, and 301. More details and sign up HERE.
