Message from the Principal

Dear PAS Families,

We hope you have had a restful and relaxing summer!  Tomorrow, we will welcome back our staff for a week of professional development and classroom organization as we prepare to welcome our students and families for the 2025-26 school year on Monday, August 25!

For now, enjoy this last week, gather your school supplies, and check out some events we are having this week below!

Uniform Swap

  • Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 PM, PAS blacktop
  • Exchange gently used uniform pieces or buy for $1 each. New gear will be available for purchase as well.
  • Volunteers needed! All volunteers will receive 10 tickets good for 1 used article of clothing each. Sign up HERE. 

New Families:

  • Wednesday, from 6-7pm: PAS Playground. New Families join us for Pops with the Principal. Meet Principal Overton and Assistant Principal Talbert, grab a treat, and make new friends!

  • Monday, August 25, 8:30 AM: First Day of School. Breakfast served at 8:00 AM. New families are invited to the New Family Meet & Greet, 8:30 AM, PAS blacktop.
  • Tuesday, August 26, 6-7 PM: Ice Cream Social and Uniform Swap, 6-7 PM, PAS blacktop. All are welcome to this FREE event! Volunteers needed. Sign up HERE and receive 10 tickets good for 1 used article of clothing each.

Room Parents Needed!

Each classroom teacher has 1-2 room parents. They help foster classroom community with tasks such as passing along announcements, organizing playdates / get-togethers, helping out during teacher appreciation week, and more! Room parents also work with teachers to assist with projects as needed. More details and sign up HERE.
