Message from the Principal

Dear PAS Families:

As we shared on Friday, we will distribute approved solar eclipse glasses to students and staff so everyone can enjoy the special event tomorrow, and I will demonstrate how to wear them in the morning announcements; however, we will have inclement weather pick up to ensure families and caregivers can pick up students safely.  If you plan to pick up your child early, please do so by 2:45pm.  This is our cut-off time for early dismissals as students are moving to their designated dismissal areas after this time.

We have a few reminders to share with everyone this week:

  • There has been an uptick of dogs at drop-off, which is causing some safety issues for students getting to the blacktop.  While several dogs are excited to see each other and are enjoying each others' company, dogs are not permitted at drop-off or pick up.

  • It is not too late to get early bird pricing for our largest fundraising and health event of the year - PAS 5K/1 Mile Fun Run. Saturday, April 13 is the last day before prices increase by $10 per person.  The event is our last opportunity to come together to close out the year as a school community and to kick off the summer on a healthy note.   See Ann Kreidle if you need assistance with registration.
