Giving Tuesday is Here! 

We are off to a good start with $7,925 raised in pre-Giving Tuesday donations.  Kindergarten is in the lead for the grade competition, and 16% of families have contributed. Please check out our webpage for an update on class participation and dollar goals:  HSAPennAlexander.org/GivingTuesday

Last year, 60% of families donated $48,000 toward the 2021 Giving Tuesday Goal of $50,000. This year our goal remains $50,000 but more importantly, our goal is to have 80% of families participate in Giving Tuesday. To that end, we are having a Giving Tuesday - Grade Participation Competition. Classes with the highest family participation for making contributions of any amount will receive extra recess! 

We know you will be receiving countless emails today not only from the HSA but also from many other organizations. There are few worthier causes than supporting your child’s school and education.

Many thanks again to our anonymous group of parents who have stepped up and together pledged $16,000 as a matching donation. So when you give, even if it’s just a small amount, every dollar you give will be matched by this group of parents, and the money goes a long way.

Families can participate by donating online at HSAPennAlexander.org/GivingTuesday. Donating online is fast and easy, and you won’t be charged any fees. You can also write a check or send cash back in your child’s Pony envelope. All donations to the HSA are 100% tax deductible, and every gift, large or small, makes a huge difference in the lives of our children, teachers, and school community.
